Q. What kinds of programs is Dentegra offering?

A. Dentegra is currently developing a PPO program tailored towards groups, associations and individuals. We want to increase access to affordable dental services by offering a comprehensive, competitive portfolio of individual and group plans. We also plan to offer additional types of products as market and customer needs change.

Q. Where does Dentegra offer its products?

A. We offer our plans in the 50 states and DC where we are currently licensed.

Q. Who is your parent company?

A. Dentegra Insurance Company is a member of the Dentegra Group. Dentegra Insurance Company and Dentegra Insurance Company of New England are currently licensed to underwrite and market dental insurance plans in 50 states and the District of Columbia.

Q. Who are your major clients?

A. Because our plans are still in development, we are not offering our plans just yet. Help us develop a comprehensive, competitive program by joining our dentist network and shape our products and services by offering your input.

Q. How does Dentegra handle claims submitted electronically?

A. We will accept electronically transmitted claims submitted from your practice management system via third-party clearinghouses. While this results in prompt and accurate payments, we intend for this become even more streamlined in the future. Dentegra will also accept claims sent via U.S. mail.

Q. How often will Dentegra review fee levels?

A. We will review the fees on at least a yearly basis to determine at that time if fee level changes are appropriate.

Q. How will individuals with Dentegra coverage know that their dentist is in the network?

A. All affiliated dentists will be placed in our online dentist directory. We are building an innovative directory, giving dentists a showcase to best highlight their unique services.
